After graduating from SVA, I was chosen to be a part of Project M (headed by award-winning designer John Bielenberg) where young creatives are brought together for over a month and urged to “think wrong,” reconceptualizing the design sphere in unexpected and engaging ways. To mark the experience, we created this artifact—a book which, when essentially destroyed, undergoes a metamorphosis to become a sculptural object that exposes Project M’s underlying message. Winner of the AIGA 50 Books / 50 Covers award and included in the book Experimental Formats 2 by Roger Fawcett-Tang, our “think wrong” book has been exhibited at SFMoMA and at the South Pole.
